 There are lot of sports for children in our country.But my favourite sport is cricket.It is the most popular sport  of the world today.I like cricket for many reasons.It is a team game.It is also a very fascinating game.It has the power of attracting the spectators attention from the beginning to the end.That is why everyone gathers around the T.V set on days when cricket matches are played.   When we play cricket, we spend most of our time in the open air.Playing in the open air is very good for our health.It is a good form of exercise too.We can enjoy thoroughly by watching the matches over the T.V.  Last week there was a shramadana campaign in our village.It was organised by the youth club.The main objective of the campaign was to repair the road leading to our village.The road was in a dilapidated condition.It had not been repaired for a number of years.It was full of pot holes. By 7.00 a.m nearly seventy five members of the Youth club gatherd near the school.They were very enthusiastic.They had brought implements like mammoties, crow bars and spades.The youth services officer in the area too took part in the shramadana campaign.The members were divided into theree groups.Each group was entrusted a different task. The first group cleared the jungle on either side of the road.They also cut down the overhanging branches of the trees.The second group filled the pot holes with earth.They cleaned the culverts too.The third group cleaned the side drains on either side of the road.  I have participated in many dance competitions, but they were all group competitions. I participated in a solo dance competition in the class where I was learning dance. It was the first time I had competed alone. I was supposed to perform a hip hop dance😎. I was very excited since the morning of that day😪.The competition was supposed to start at around 11 am. My friends were also ready to perform their dances. We went to the competition venue at around 9 am. After a while, my two teachers and the judging panel arrived. Our teacher gave us numbers to perform for the competition. Oh my God..!! I got the first number🥹. My heart was beating faster. I felt like I couldn't remember anything I was practiced to.  I love dancing very much. Through it, I can gain various experiences. One of the experiences I gained is the first television commercial I participated in. It was a very valuable opportunity for me. This commercial was presented by the company Aliya Maskinite Sheet. Four of my friends participated in this with me. The shooting took place near a beautiful lake in the evening. All the people in the relevant company team who came for the shooting were humble people. They were all very friendly with us. They provided us with everything we needed, including food and drinks. The filming lasted for about 4-5 hours. After the filming was over, we said goodbye to everyone quietly and returned home. I consider this a major turning point in my life.

 Today, there are many talented dancers in Sri Lanka. Among them, my favorite dancer is Oshan Liyanage Sir. He is a very popular dancer not only in Sri Lanka but also in the world. He is very talented. Since then, he has been my favorite dancer and is now my Western dance teacher. I have been eagerly waiting to learn under him and today I have fulfilled that desire. I love Western dance very much. In the beginning, I was not very good at Western dance. But today, my skills have improved more than I was before. The main reason for that is Oshan Liyanage Sir.   He has made his name known internationally. He has paved the way for thousands of children to progress through Western dance. He contributes his talent to dance events such as music videos, film dances, etc. I follow his dance steps. If my dances are getting any kind of audience love today, it is because of him. My goal is to one day become a talented and popular dancer like my sir, Oshan Liyanage.

 There are many talented singers in the Sri Lankan art scene. Among them, my favorite singer, then and now, is Mrs. Abhisheka Wimalaweera. She is a talented singer. I enjoy all her songs. She has a very sweet and beautiful voice. When I listen to her songs, my heart feels light. My mind feels free. She is a very humble singer. She has a beautiful face and a beautiful heart. She has sung many songs such as "Mathaka Lantherum, Dekopul Kadulin Thema, Vahi Kaviya, Nissara Sansara, Chandra Mandale, Dahas gananak, Thawama pana thiyenawa, Dannawada adare neethiya, Ranga Mandala Thama tharunai, Ridi Ridi Sanahana Adare, Sabandini, Nethra, Seema Naa..." etc. All those songs are very meaningful and interesting songs. Her songs include songs about love as well as separation. She is also a music scholar and a singer who has won the hearts of everyone. Her talent is very high. One day she will undoubtedly become a memorable, humble singer in the Sri Lankan singing scene.

 I am someone who loves to travel. I like to find beautiful places, go to those places, and experience that beauty. Of all the places I have visited, my favorite is Kandy. I have been to Kandy several times. Kandy is a famous city in Sri Lanka due to reasons like Dalada Maligawa and Peradeniya Flower Garden. Kandy is also known as a very blessed land due to Dalada Maligawa. Peradeniya Flower Garden is also the most beautiful place in Kandy. It is like heaven when the flowers bloom. Kandy is also known as the "most beloved city". Another special event is the annual Dalada Perahera. Various beautiful dances and many cultural elements are presented here. This event is a major reason to preserve Sri Lankan artistic heritage. Kandy is also known as an area where upcountry dance is prevalent. For these reasons, Kandy is my favorite place to go♥️.

 Among the films I have watched, my favorite is "Dharmayuddha". This film, which was released in Sri Lanka, is a very exemplary and beautiful film. Jackson Anthony, a very famous and talented actor in Sri Lanka, plays the lead role in this film. In the story, he is named Harischandra and has a small family consisting of a wife and two daughters. They live very happily and lovingly. But at an unexpected moment, an incident that happens to the eldest daughter of this family causes them to face many troubles. At this time, Harischandra acts very intelligently as a father. He makes many sacrifices for his family and to protect his daughter. In the end, he wins all this. He also protects his family. He shows the audience that the most important quality that a family should have is unity. He also shows that when a problem arises, everyone should come together and act together.  I call dancing my life💃.It is truly an addiction for me.I started learning dance at the age of 4. I have continued to do it with great pleasure until today. My first dance teacher was my preschool teacher. Since then, I have studied and am studying dance under many other teachers at various times. Because of them, my abilities are further developing.  The saddest experience I have ever had in my life was the death of my grandmother🥺🏳️.Hearing the news of her death at an unexpected moment left me deeply shocked💔.She had been with us since we were little.She made many sacrifices for us.She helped everyone as much as she could.She was a beautiful woman who was kind to everyone❤️. I was deeply affected mentally and physically by her loss.Even today, all her memories remain in my heart🫀.We are doing all the good deeds we can for her.🤍

 Omaragolla is the name of my village.This is a village full of mountains, paddy fields and streams.Very happy people live here.Their hearts are beautiful and loving.The temple in the middle of a beautiful paddy field is a blessing to the village.  I went to two schools.From grade one to Ordinary Level, I went to the village school.And for advanced level, I went to a famous school in the city. My first school was Omaragolla Maha Vidyalaya.It was a very beautiful school on a hill in my village.❤️ I studied with dear friends and teachers.I also participated in sports and other things.I was also a member of the school's cultural band.😌I spent 11 beautiful years in this school.♥️ I also went to Ibbagamuwa Central College for my A/L education.It is located in a beautiful green environment🍃.The Batalagoda Lake surrounding the school is also a reason for the beauty of the school💦.
